Beige, Eucalyptus, & Just like everyone's wedding... Not anymore

There’s nothing wrong with beige or eucalyptus. Wait what? Aren’t you contradicting yourself and we’re not even a paragraph in.

Let me explain– as a wedding photographer, I was familiar with the industry and just fell over backwards (full goo-goo, gah-gah) each time I saw someone be true to themselves and the story they wanted to share. I realized I wanted to help others break out of the mold of Pinterest in lean into being themselves and sharing what they love in all the vibrant colors of life.

One problem– everything I found for inspiration looked kind of the same. It was all the same on Pinterest, on Instagram, in all the Bridal magazines and blogs.

Where was the color? Where was the ways to enhance your individuality? And why was everything so mono-tone?

So here I am–wishing I had a way to help get the word out and help brides find ways to be true to themselves, lean into their interests and individuality. You can still have a stunning wedding, that photographs well, without having to do something that everyone else has done. Don’t you want people to think of your wedding as an event, not just another wedding? You want them to say “Did you go to [his/her/they/them] wedding? Oh you SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE! We stayed all night.” But how?

Find vendors who accentuate your personality. If that’s beige and eucalyptus–that’s fine but make it you! Find ways to use trends that resonate with you. Find the resources and creative director you need to make your wedding an event (not just a reception).

Find it at Wed Utah.

We stay atop of trends, show you how to incorporate it into your weddings in different ways, and highlights your stories that are just that– your story.

Let’s say goodbye to the same sad beige weddings everyone is doing and hello to individuality.

As a wedding photographer, I fell in love with helping people tell their love story in personalized ways. I realized Utah had a gap of resources to help you break from the mold of a "Pinterest Beige" wedding.
